Join Magee-Womens Research Institute at the Magee-Womens Research Summit: an international conference of top scientists, healthcare advocates and corporate leaders focused on women’s health.
This inaugural summit kicks off October 9-10, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, an epicenter of innovation in health, technology and science. The centerpiece of the summit will be the Magee Prize, an award of a $1 million for collaborative and transformative research within reproductive sciences.
From the “father of precision medicine” to the Rwandan health minister, the Summit will convene women’s health researchers, precision medicine and public health experts and global health advocates in Pittsburgh.
The opening keynote will be delivered by one of the world's foremost biotech pioneers, Dr. Leroy Hood, while former CBS News chief foreign affairs correspondent Lara Logan will share her global experiences at the Magee Prize Dinner. World-renowned experts in multiple fields representing countries both in the developed and developing world will share groundbreaking research in reproductive sciences, early human development, scientific wellness and on the impact of sex differences in human health and disease.
This Summit will culminate with expert “crowdsourcing” ideas on how to move women’s health research to the forefront.
